Electrical performance

Excitation system

The series generators are mainly excited by the third harmonic wave, we may also supply fundamental wave adding the third harmonic wave excitation generator as well as fundamental wave generators if needed.

Insulation class

The serial generators adopt class H insulation.

Frequency and voltage

The rated frequency of the serial generator is 50Hz, rated voltage is 400V, and we may also supply 60Hz, 400V, 480V or other specifications generators if needed.

Power factor

The rated power factor of the serial generators is 0.8(lagging) and 1.0, and we may also supply the generator which the power factor is less than 0.8(lagging).

Transient performance

When sudden add rated load of 0.8(lagging) power factor, the voltage drop of generator is less than 15% Un，when sudden dump rated load of 0.8(lagging) power factor, the voltage rise of generator is less than 20% Un, voltage recovery time is less than 1s.

Waveform 

The voltage waveform sine distortion rate THD is less than 3% in no load.

Telephone harmonic factor(THF) is less than 2%.

Voltage adjustment range 

Voltage adjustment range of generator is 90%～110% Un in no load。

Parallel operation

After equipped with parallel operation equipment, the serial generators may be used for parallel operation with other generator or power grid.
