Recently, CSIC 722 institute specialists visit Kungfu Sci-tech company test station and inspect IP23 alternators which are installed in water base extinguisher zone and are carried out load verification test. Everything works perfectly and it is fully compatible with water base extinguisher zone requirements of International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974( short SOLAS）. CCS Wuhan branch surveyors witness the whole process of the test.  

Protection class is alternator important performance indicator, and also that of marine alternator specially in environment test. Generally speaking, it is IP21、IP22、stronger IP23 for alternator. IP44 is used for extremely harsh environment and in super-high conditions, which general alternator manufacturers do not involve this test item.

CSIC 722 institute’s alternator environment and reliability test center is one of national key test centers whose test report has authority in China.
