Different alternator type (frame) is corresponding to different power, clients always choose alternator power according to total power of its load. Clients should know alternator load characteristic and size thoroughly. It should consider special load independently.  

Generally, kW is presented in the form of power, and three-phase alternator factory capacity is calculated according to rated power factor 0.8 before our alternator goes out. That is kVA＝kW/0.8. In most cases, we give the two following kinds of power according to every type alternator.

1. Continuous maximum power: the maximum power of alternator continuous operation, and all the alternator technical data regards it as standard.
　

2. Stand-by power: the maximum power is high when stand-by power ratio continues operation, so temperature rise will increases, and it will cause performance deterioration. It allows long-time output, but which will make the alternator's life shorter.
